AGM (ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING)

On 18th November 2009, Dental Students Society (DENSS) have conducted their second annual general meeting (AGM) at multipurpose hall, Kulliyyah of Dentistry. The objective of the meeting was to determine the new faces to govern the throne. The VIPs that attend this meeting were Maj (R) Dr Akbar Sham Bin Hussin (dean Kulliyyah of Dentistry), Dr Akhtar Uzzaman (deputy dean, student affairs), and Mr. Adam. During the meeting, there was open session regarding any arising matters of DENSS. There was a lot of problems arose, and the action will be taken by the new line up.
Besides, DENSS also succeed to prove that they are one of the most dynamic societies in International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Kuantan based on the activities that have been conducted since it was established. Although the number of student in DENSS is quite small (about 150 students), the spirit of caring and loving to the society is bigger, thus the number is not a matter. So, the most important thing is the quality not the quantity.
Million thanks to our beloved dean, Dr Akbar and our deputy dean Dr. Akhtar for their support. Special thanks also to the ex-main board and members of DENSS. Lastly, for the new faces of DENSS main board, please get ready to lead your throne perfectly. Hopefully, DENSS will become the best society in IIUM.Insya-Allah.
